Tide Launches Campaign To Fight Latino Stereotypes And Labels

October 7, 2015: 12:00 AM EST
Procter & Gamble’s Tide laundry detergent brand launched #WashAwayLabels, a social media campaign against discrimination and stereotyping of Latinos. Made in partnership with the National Council of La Raza, the campaign includes a YouTube video launched on October 3, 2015, featuring testimonials of members of different ethnic groups, including Cubans and Mexicans. Tide said it hopes to help the Latino community “wash away” the negative titles members have been labeled in their lifetimes.
